| Hot Soup GalleryOLD CITY Philadelphia's only public-access glassblowing studio and gallery, is dedicated to increasing the community's awareness of the arts and techniques of glass making. Since opening in November of '96, hundreds of students and thousands of spectators have been exposed to this exciting material. With weekly classes, private lessons, live demonstrations, and a public-access studio, Hot Soup provides the perfect learning environment for individuals of all ages and abilities. Each First Friday of the month, Hot Soup's gallery presents a new exhibit that ranges from local artists' work to faculty or student shows. Each month's opening features free live glassblowing demonstrations in our hot shop and beadmaking demos upstairs in our flameworking studio between 6:00 and 10:00 p.m. Hot Soup Gallery is located at: E-mail: info@hotsoupstudio.com |
